Warrior Golf Victorious

In Yesterday's match, the Warrior Golfers defeated teams from Brookhaven, Walnut Ridge, and Mifflin.

The low round of the match was turned in by Sean James, shooting a personal best 48.  Also shooting a new personal best was Candace Madry.

Congratulations Golf Team on your victory.

EA Football over South

The EA Warrior Football team defeated South last night 60 - 0.  Line score will be updated as soon as available.

Volleyball builds on great start.

The Varsity Team is 6-2 now after the CSG Tournament. Also they got 3rd in that tournament and the JV team is 3-2.

Trip to Puerto Rico - 2009

There will be a parent-student information meeting for parents of interested students on September 25 at 8:00 pm. The meeting will last approximately 1/2 hour in the library. Attendance is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED!

INTERNSHIPS BEGIN SOON

Internships start on Thursday, September 25, for all Seniors who are eligible. Internships run from 9:00am to 2:00pm for 25 weeks. Career Center students must find an AM Internship before they attend their Career Center. Students taking taking credit recovery on Thursdays are temporarily exempt from Internships. Mr. Green must receive written permission from an Administrator for this to happen.

Tennis Gets 6th Win.

The Tennis Team won their 6th match of the season with an impressive 4-1 win over Marian Franklin. Cherelle Gardner, Kateresa Lee, Ebony Brown all won their singles matches while J.D. & Cree Strong won their doubles match. Eastmoor plays against defending Champion Briggs on Tuesday(Away) and Walnut Ridge(Home) on Thursday.

Golf Continues to Improve.

The EA Warrior Golf Team smashed its previos season low on Thursday by posting a 236. In the effort, Brad Stepter and Sean James turned in personal bests while Ian Sheets and Taylor Sawyer contributed to the win over South.

Wednesday, September 10

Volleyball off to Great Start!

This Volleyball season is off to a good start.  Varsity's record is 4-1 and JV's record is 3-1.  Varsity is undefeated in conference play.  Player of the Game awards have been given to Katie Watson, Briana Rhodes, Michelle Miranda, Chelsey Radcliff and Taylor Simon.

After a not so gracefull win over Brookhaven, both teams practiced hard and came to play this week.  Everyone was serving better, communicating, and playing together as a team.  Come and see the 2008 teams in action next Tuesday and Thurday 5:30p at the Eastmoor Academy Gym.  Let's show these Lady Warriors some support on their quest for the City Championship.
